I have recently acquired a new affinity during my lengthy absence. Nothing unexpected, I'm sure.

Today, I venture to find why it is that I have such an intense longing to involve myself con cosas that I don't really need to. Its almost as if the more I know something isnt good for me the more I want it. Is my agenda obscured? I think it might be normal. . .

PLEASE SOMEONE

Put this revolting beast out of its misery so that we can all rest easy. Shouldn't she have a paid professional telling her to cover those disgusting limbs of hers?

The Calender Hung Itself

Does he kiss your eyelids in the morning when you start to raise your head?
And does he sing to you incessantly from the space between your bed and wall?
Does he walk around all day at school with his feet inside your shoes?
Looking down every few steps to pretend he walks with you
Oh does he know that place below your neck that is your favorite to be touched,
and does he lay awake listening to your breath?
Worried you smoke too many cigarettes.
Is he coughing now, on a bathroom floor?
For every speck of tile there's a thousand more.
You won't ever see,
but you must hold inside yourself eternally.
Well I drug your ghost across the country and we plotted out my death
In every city, memories would whisper, Here is where you rest
I was determined in Chicago but I dug my teeth into my knees,
and I settled for a telephone and sang into your machine
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
And I kissed a girl with a broken jaw that her father gave to her
She had eyes bright enough to burn me. They reminded me of yours.
And in a story told she was a little girl in a red-rouge, sun-bruised field
and there were rows of ripe tomatoes where a secret was concealed
And it rose like thunder, clapped under our hands
And it stretched for centuries to a diary entry's end
Where I wrote,
You make me happy
Oh when skies are grey
You make me happy oh when skies are grey and grey and grey.
Well the clock's heart it hangs inside its open chest
With its hands stretched towards the calender hanging itself
But I will not weep for those dying days
For all the ones who've left there's a few that stayed
And they found me here and pulled me from the grass where I was laid.

What has happened to love?

If you don't already listen to Rufus Wainwright, you should seriously consider starting.

This week a lot of free goodies arrived at my house. Naturally, the rapturous event nearly left me speechless due to the fact that at the begining of all of this I never expected to recieve anything much less the POISE!!!!!

And just for aesthetic purposes. . .

and because I am basically completely enamoured. I should also like to point out that this is a BIG difference between infatuation & obsession.

Kings Of Leon

So, this past Friday, my brother and I adventured down to San Diego for a little KOL action, and let me tell you something - never in my life have I seen a show like this one, and I have seen a lot of shows and I am very biased towards certain performers (namely afireinside) and this one blew me away.

First off, our seats albeit not on the floor (which would have been preferred) were basically in the dead center of the venue and we had a perfect view. Caleb Followill & co. were naturally looking stunning (ohmygodsogorgeous) and they played great. Their performance was the closest to the actual album as I have ever seen a band perform before (Britney exempt 'cause that bitch be 'syncin.) They squeezed in every last one of their really good songs, which basically consisted of their entire new cd and most of their 1st, 2nd & 3rd records too. Their encore pushed 30 minutes (OHMYGOD RIGHT?!) That was a first for me. Mostly bands come out with one MAYBE two songs for the encore, but these bitches gave us five or six more. Hot damn.

So yeah. Awesome show. Despite all of the traffic getting down there and accidentally getting lost and taking us an hour or so out of our way on the way home. Ha ha. Leave it to me.

CRASHLOVE

Ok, so the brand new AFI record is coming out next month, and anyone who knows anything about me probably already knows that its basically the only thing I can manage to think about. These promo pictures just(?) came out. I think I almost peed myself. I feel like a thirteen year old again. Give me my chains and black lipstick - I am ready to go fangirlie.
